Understand the guidelines, policies, and terms that govern your access, use, and interaction with Rattan Tradeasia.

  1. Introduction

    Welcome to RattanTradeAsia. These Terms and Conditions (“TnC”) govern the use of the RattanTradeAsia website, product catalog, inquiry forms, supplier network, RFQ services, communication channels, and related business services.

    By accessing the website, submitting an inquiry, requesting a quotation, sharing product information, joining the supplier network, or using any service provided by RattanTradeAsia, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

    By using this website, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using this website or submitting any information to RattanTradeAsia.

  2. About RattanTradeAsia

    RattanTradeAsia is a business-to-business (“B2B”) sourcing and export support platform focused on rattan furniture, wicker products, cane, bamboo, natural fiber products, home decor, hospitality furniture, raw materials, OEM, private label, and related products.

    The Platform is designed to facilitate product discovery, supplier matching, quotation requests (RFQs), sourcing support, supplier onboarding, business communications, export coordination, and other related business services. The Platform is intended solely for business users and commercial transactions and is not designed for consumer or personal use.

    RattanTradeAsia is not a consumer marketplace and does not operate as an instant online checkout platform.

    Unless expressly agreed in a separate written agreement, RattanTradeAsia acts solely as an intermediary and sourcing facilitator. RattanTradeAsia does not act as the seller, buyer, manufacturer, importer, exporter, logistics provider, customs broker, or legal representative of any User and is not a party to any Transaction entered into between Buyers and Suppliers.

  3. Definitions

    For the purpose of these Terms:

    • “RattanTradeAsia,” “we,” “our,” or “us” refers to the platform operator, website, team, and related business services.
    • “Platform” refers to the RattanTradeAsia website, product listings, digital catalog, supplier network, inquiry forms, RFQ channels, and related business tools.
    • “Buyer” refers to any business user, importer, wholesaler, distributor, retailer, hospitality buyer, architect, designer, procurement company, project owner, or organization submitting inquiries or RFQs.
    • “Supplier” refers to any manufacturer, exporter, workshop, factory, trader, producer, artisan group, or business partner providing product information, catalogues, quotations, samples, or products.
    • “RFQ” means Request for Quotation submitted by a Buyer for product sourcing, pricing, wholesale order, sample request, OEM, or project inquiry.
    • “Product Information” means product photos, names, descriptions, materials, dimensions, specifications, MOQ, lead time, packaging details, certificates, pricing basis, and other product-related information.
    • “MOQ” means the minimum quantity of Products that the Buyer is required to purchase in a single order. The applicable MOQ may vary depending on the Product type, material, design, dimensions, color, packaging requirements, customization level, and production capacity.
    • “OEM” means Products manufactured by the Supplier according to the Buyer’s specifications, designs, technical drawings, dimensions, materials, colors, branding, packaging, or other customization requirements.
    • “Transaction” means any commercial arrangement, purchase, order, sample request, supply agreement, or project agreement between Buyer and Supplier, whether facilitated by RattanTradeAsia or conducted directly between the relevant parties.
  4. B2B Use Only

    RattanTradeAsia is intended for B2B use only. By using the Platform, you confirm that you are using the website for business, sourcing, wholesale, procurement, export, distribution, project, manufacturing, or commercial purposes.

    The Platform is not intended for personal household purchases, retail consumer checkout, or individual consumer transactions.

  5. Account Registration and Security
    1. Account Registration

      Certain features of the Platform, including supplier onboarding, access to the supplier portal, submission of detailed product listings, and participation in the RattanTradeAsia supplier network, may require users to register an account or complete an onboarding process.

      To register, users must provide accurate, complete, and current information as requested, including but not limited to company name, legal business registration details, contact person name, email address, and country of operation.

      Users agree to update their account information promptly if any details change, to ensure the information remains accurate and current at all times.

    2. Account Eligibility

      By registering an account on the Platform, users confirm and represent that:

      • They are at least 18 years of age and have full legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
      • They are acting on behalf of a legally registered business or organization, and are duly authorized to represent and bind that entity.
      • The information provided during registration is accurate, truthful, and not misleading.
      • The registration is not being made for the purpose of competing with, reverse engineering, or misusing the Platform.
    3. Account Credentials and Security

      Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their account credentials, including any username, password, access token, or other login information assigned to or created by them.

      Users must not share their account credentials with any unauthorized person or allow any third party to access the Platform using their account.

      Users agree to notify RattanTradeAsia immediately at contact@rattantradeasia.com if they become aware of any unauthorized use of their account, suspected security breach, or loss of account credentials.

      RattanTradeAsia shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from a user’s failure to maintain the security of their account credentials, or from unauthorized access resulting from the user’s own acts or omissions.

    4. One Account Per Entity

      Each legal entity (company, business, or organization) is permitted to maintain one active account on the Platform, unless RattanTradeAsia expressly grants written permission for additional accounts.

      RattanTradeAsia reserves the right to merge, suspend, or terminate duplicate accounts without prior notice.

    5. Account Verification

      RattanTradeAsia reserves the right to verify the identity and legitimacy of any user or account at any time, including by requesting supporting documents such as business registration certificates, tax identification numbers, contact verification, or other information.

      Failure to provide satisfactory verification upon request may result in restricted access, suspension, or termination of the account.

    6. Account Suspension and Termination by User

      Users may deactivate or close their account at any time by contacting RattanTradeAsia at contact@rattantradeasia.com. Deactivation does not affect any obligations, liabilities, or commitments arising before the date of deactivation.

      Supplier accounts that are deactivated or terminated will result in the removal of associated product listings from the Platform, subject to any separate supplier agreement provisions.

  6. No Guarantee of Transaction Outcome

    RattanTradeAsia may assist in connecting buyers and suppliers, but we do not guarantee:

    • Product availability
    • Final pricing
    • Supplier acceptance of inquiry
    • Buyer purchase commitment
    • Production capacity
    • Delivery timeline
    • Product quality beyond confirmed supplier responsibility
    • Customs clearance approval
    • Import approval
    • Certification validity
    • Successful completion of any transaction
    • Buyer payment performance
    • Supplier delivery performance

    Users acknowledge that all business decisions, supplier selection, buyer selection, order confirmation, and transaction commitments are made at their own discretion and risk.

  7. Buyer Responsibilities

    Buyers are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and updated information when submitting inquiries or RFQs, including:

    • Company name
    • Country
    • Contact person
    • Product interest
    • Product specification
    • Estimated quantity
    • Required material
    • Destination country or port
    • Packaging requirements
    • Certification requirements
    • Target delivery timeline
    • Target price, if any
    • Customization or OEM requirements

    Buyers are responsible for verifying whether the requested products comply with their local laws, import regulations, customs requirements, product safety standards, tax obligations, and destination country requirements. Incomplete or inaccurate RFQ information may delay quotation processing, supplier matching, and order confirmation.

  8. Supplier Responsibilities

    Suppliers are responsible for providing accurate, lawful, and updated information, including:

    • Company profile
    • Legal business information
    • Factory or workshop details
    • Product catalog
    • Product photos
    • Product specifications
    • MOQ
    • Lead time
    • Production capacity
    • Export markets
    • Certifications
    • Packaging details
    • Pricing basis
    • Contact person information

    Suppliers must ensure that all information, documents, claims, images, certificates, and product details submitted to RattanTradeAsia are accurate, not misleading, and authorized for use. Suppliers are fully responsible for product quality, product specifications, production accuracy, packaging, delivery readiness, export documents, and compliance with agreed terms. RattanTradeAsia reserves the right to edit, standardize, categorize, reject, suspend, or remove any supplier information or product listing that is incomplete, inaccurate, duplicated, misleading, low quality, irrelevant, or unsuitable for the Platform.

  9. Representations and Warranties of Users

    By accessing or using the Platform, each user, whether a Buyer, Supplier, or any other party, represents and warrants to RattanTradeAsia as follows, and acknowledges that RattanTradeAsia relies on these representations and warranties in providing access to the Platform and its services:

    1. Legal Capacity and Authority
      • The user is a legally registered business entity, organization, or individual with full legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under applicable law.
      • If acting on behalf of a company or organization, the individual accessing the Platform or submitting information is duly authorized to represent, act for, and legally bind that entity.
      • The user is at least 18 years of age or has reached the applicable age of legal majority in their jurisdiction.
    2. Accuracy of Information
      • All information submitted to RattanTradeAsia through the Platform, including registration details, company profiles, product information, RFQ content, certifications, documents, and representations, is accurate, complete, current, and not misleading.
      • The user will promptly update any information provided to RattanTradeAsia if it becomes inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.
      • The user has not knowingly omitted any material information that would be relevant to RattanTradeAsia’s decision to provide access to the Platform or facilitate a sourcing engagement.
    3. Compliance with Laws
      • The user is in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements in their jurisdiction, including but not limited to laws relating to business registration, trade, import-export, product safety, customs, taxation, anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and anti-money laundering.
      • The user’s use of the Platform and participation in any transaction facilitated through the Platform does not and will not violate any applicable law or regulation.
      • The user is not subject to, and is not acting on behalf of any person or entity subject to, any applicable trade sanctions, export control restrictions, or government blacklists, including those administered by the United Nations, the United States (OFAC), the European Union, or any other relevant authority.
    4. Intellectual Property
      • The user owns or has obtained all necessary rights, licenses, consents, and permissions to submit, use, and authorize RattanTradeAsia to display and use any content, materials, images, documents, logos, certifications, or other intellectual property provided to RattanTradeAsia through the Platform.
      • The submission of such materials does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of any third party.
    5. No Conflict of Interest or Prohibited Purpose
      • The user is not accessing the Platform for the purpose of competing with RattanTradeAsia, reverse engineering the Platform, harvesting supplier or buyer data, or any other unauthorized or prohibited purpose.
      • The user does not have any undisclosed conflict of interest that would affect their good-faith participation on the Platform.
    6. Continuing Nature of Representations

      The representations and warranties set out in this Clause are made at the time of first access to the Platform and are deemed to be repeated each time the user accesses the Platform, submits information, or engages in any activity through or in connection with the Platform.

      If any representation or warranty becomes untrue, inaccurate, or misleading, the user must notify RattanTradeAsia promptly in writing.

    7. Breach of Representations and Warranties

      Any breach of the representations and warranties in this Clause constitutes a material breach of these Terms and Conditions, entitling RattanTradeAsia to suspend or terminate the user’s access to the Platform immediately and to seek indemnification in accordance with the Indemnity clause of these Terms.

  10. Product Information and Supplier Verification

    Product Information, supplier profiles, certifications, trust indicators, product images, specifications, descriptions, and other materials displayed on the Platform are provided for general business reference only and are primarily based on information submitted by the relevant Supplier.

    Natural materials, manufacturing processes, customization, production variations, and periodic updates, Product Information—including specifications, dimensions, colours, materials, finishes, packaging, availability, certifications, and other characteristics—may vary from the final Products supplied.

    RattanTradeAsia may review, organize, categorize, or display supplier information and may perform certain verification activities at its sole discretion. However, unless expressly stated otherwise, RattanTradeAsia does not independently verify, inspect, audit, certify, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legality, authenticity, quality, safety, financial standing, regulatory compliance, or future performance of any Supplier, Product Information, certification, or representation available through the Platform.

    Any verification status, trust indicator, badge, or similar designation is provided solely for general informational purposes and should not be interpreted as an endorsement, warranty, or guarantee of any Supplier or Product.

    Buyers are solely responsible for conducting their own commercial, legal, technical, quality, and regulatory due diligence before relying on any information available through the Platform or entering into any Transaction.

  11. RFQ and Quotation Process

    Submitting an RFQ through RattanTradeAsia does not create a binding order.

    After receiving an RFQ, RattanTradeAsia may review the inquiry, request additional information, identify suitable suppliers, and coordinate quotation support.

    A quotation may include price, MOQ, lead time, payment terms, sample availability, Incoterms, packaging details, shipment terms, and validity period.

    All quotations are subject to supplier confirmation and may change due to material cost, labor cost, exchange rate, freight cost, packaging cost, production capacity, or other commercial factors.

    A quotation becomes binding only when confirmed through an accepted proforma invoice, purchase order, contract, or written confirmation by the relevant parties.

  12. Pricing and Payment Terms

    Prices displayed or communicated through RattanTradeAsia are indicative unless clearly stated as final and confirmed in writing.

    Final pricing may depend on:

    • Quantity
    • Material
    • Size
    • Finishing
    • Cushion or fabric requirement
    • Packaging
    • Customization
    • Supplier terms
    • Destination country
    • Freight cost
    • Taxes, duties, and other charges

    Payment terms shall be agreed separately in the quotation, proforma invoice, purchase order, contract, or written agreement. Unless otherwise agreed, buyers are responsible for bank charges, transaction fees, import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, destination charges, and any other costs related to their purchase.

  13. Samples

    Sample availability depends on each supplier. Sample cost, shipping cost, production lead time, refund policy, and sample terms must be confirmed before sample production or delivery.

    Samples are provided for evaluation purposes only and may not perfectly represent mass production due to handmade variation, natural material differences, or production adjustment.

    Bulk production must be confirmed separately based on approved samples, specifications, drawings, or written order confirmation.

  14. Custom, OEM, and Private Label Orders

    Buyers requesting custom, OEM, private label, or project-based Products shall provide complete and accurate specifications, including any applicable design, material, dimensions, finishing, packaging, labeling, compliance, and other technical requirements necessary for the Supplier to evaluate the request.

    Any custom development, sample production, tooling, design work, minimum order quantity, pricing, lead time, intellectual property ownership, confidentiality obligations, exclusivity arrangements, or other commercial terms shall be agreed separately in writing between the relevant parties before production commences.

  15. Shipping, Logistics, Export Documentation, and Trade Compliance

    RattanTradeAsia may assist in coordinating shipments, logistics arrangements, export documentation, and communication between Buyers, Suppliers, and logistics providers. Such assistance is provided solely as an administrative or coordination service and does not create any obligation or liability on the part of RattanTradeAsia regarding shipment performance or regulatory compliance.

    All responsibilities relating to transportation, risk transfer, insurance, customs clearance, export and import documentation, regulatory approvals, destination charges, duties, taxes, and compliance with applicable trade laws shall remain the responsibility of the Buyer and/or Supplier, as applicable, unless otherwise agreed in writing by both parties.

    Required export or import documentation may include commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, product certificates, phytosanitary certificates, test reports, insurance documents, or other documents required by the destination country or applicable laws.

    Delivery schedules are estimates only and may be affected by production delays, transportation issues, customs procedures, government actions, force majeure events, or other circumstances beyond RattanTradeAsia's reasonable control.

  16. Product Claims, Returns, Cancellation, and Refunds

    Buyers may request samples, pre-shipment inspection, factory audit, third-party inspection, or quality checking where available. Buyers are also encouraged to inspect Products promptly upon receipt. Inspection scope, cost, timing, and responsibility must be agreed in writing before production or shipment.

    Any claim relating to shortages, visible damage, incorrect Products, specification discrepancies, or other non-conformities should be submitted in writing within 14 (fourteen) days after receipt of the Products, together with reasonable supporting evidence, including photographs, inspection reports, shipping documents, or other relevant records.

    RattanTradeAsia may facilitate communication between the Buyer and Supplier; however, the investigation, resolution, replacement, repair, refund, cancellation, or other commercial remedy shall remain the responsibility of the relevant Buyer and Supplier in accordance with their contractual arrangements.

    Custom-made, OEM, private label, project-based, or made-to-order Products may not be cancelled, returned, or refunded after production has commenced, unless otherwise agreed in writing by both parties.

  17. User-Submitted Content

    By submitting catalogs, product photos, company profiles, logos, text, documents, certificates, or other materials to RattanTradeAsia, the submitting party grants RattanTradeAsia permission to use, edit, format, translate, publish, display, and promote such materials on the website, marketing materials, buyer communications, internal documents, and business development activities.

    The submitting party confirms that it owns or has the right to provide and authorize the use of such materials.

    RattanTradeAsia may remove or modify submitted content at its discretion.

  18. Intellectual Property

    All website content, layout, branding, text, graphics, visual elements, structure, database format, and platform materials created or owned by RattanTradeAsia remain the intellectual property of RattanTradeAsia or its licensors.

    Users may not copy, scrape, reproduce, modify, distribute, resell, or use website content for unauthorized commercial purposes without prior written consent.

    Supplier-owned catalogs, logos, and product images remain the property of the relevant supplier unless otherwise agreed.

  19. Confidentiality

    Users may receive business information, supplier details, buyer inquiries, pricing, quotations, product specifications, commercial terms, or internal communication through RattanTradeAsia.

    Such information must be treated as confidential and may not be disclosed to unauthorized parties, used for unrelated purposes, or exploited outside the intended sourcing or transaction process.

  20. Privacy and Data Protection

    RattanTradeAsia is committed to protecting the personal data of all users in accordance with applicable data protection laws and any other applicable data protection regulations in the jurisdictions where our users are located.

    1. Personal Data We Collect

      In the course of operating the Platform, RattanTradeAsia may collect and process the following categories of personal data:

      • Identity and contact information: full name, job title, company name, email address, telephone number, and business address
      • Inquiry and RFQ data: product interests, sourcing requirements, quotation details, and correspondence submitted through the Platform
      • Supplier profile information: company registration details, factory information, certifications, product catalogues, pricing, and related business documents
      • Technical usage data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and session activity collected automatically through cookies and analytics tools
      • Communication records: emails, messages, and other correspondence exchanged through or in connection with the Platform
    2. Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing

      RattanTradeAsia processes personal data for the following purposes:

      • To operate, maintain, and improve the Platform and its services
      • To facilitate buyer and supplier matching, RFQ processing, and sourcing support
      • To communicate with users regarding their inquiries, quotations, supplier introductions, and related business activities
      • To send relevant business updates, product information, industry news, and service communications, subject to user consent or legitimate interest, as applicable
      • To comply with applicable legal obligations, including trade compliance, tax, anti-money laundering, and sanctions screening requirements
      • To protect the rights, safety, and legitimate business interests of RattanTradeAsia, its users, and third parties

      Processing is carried out on the basis of: (i) performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps at the user's request; (ii) compliance with a legal obligation; (iii) legitimate interests of RattanTradeAsia in operating the Platform; or (iv) the user's consent, where required by applicable law.

    3. Cross-Border Data Transfers

      RattanTradeAsia operates in an international B2B environment. Personal data submitted through the Platform may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in countries outside Indonesia, including countries where our suppliers, buyers, logistics partners, or service providers are located.

      Where personal data is transferred outside Indonesia, RattanTradeAsia will take reasonable steps to ensure that such transfers are conducted in accordance with applicable requirements under the PDP Law, including ensuring an adequate level of protection for the personal data concerned.

      By using the Platform, users acknowledge and consent to the transfer of their personal data as described in this Clause, where required for the purpose of facilitating their sourcing, inquiry, or transaction activities.

    4. Data Retention

      RattanTradeAsia retains personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including for the purposes of satisfying legal, regulatory, accounting, or reporting requirements.

      The criteria used to determine retention periods include: the nature of the data and the purpose for processing; applicable legal and regulatory requirements; and whether the data is necessary to resolve disputes or enforce agreements.

      When personal data is no longer required, RattanTradeAsia will take reasonable steps to delete, anonymize, or de-identify it.

    5. Data Subject Rights

      Subject to applicable law, users have the right to:

      • Access the personal data RattanTradeAsia holds about them
      • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data
      • Request deletion of personal data, subject to applicable legal retention obligations
      • Object to or request restriction of certain processing activities
      • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal
      • Lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority

      To exercise any of the above rights, users may contact RattanTradeAsia at contact@rattantradeasia.com. RattanTradeAsia will respond to verifiable requests within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.

    6. Data Security

      RattanTradeAsia implements reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is entirely secure, and RattanTradeAsia cannot guarantee absolute security.

      Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login credentials or access information they use in connection with the Platform.

    7. Privacy Policy

      This Clause provides a summary of RattanTradeAsia's data protection practices as part of these Terms and Conditions. A full Privacy Policy, which forms part of the agreement between RattanTradeAsia and its users, is available at /privacy-policy. In the event of any conflict between this Clause and the Privacy Policy, the Privacy Policy shall prevail in respect of data protection matters.

  21. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
    1. Use of Cookies

      RattanTradeAsia uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the Platform to operate and improve the website, understand user behavior, and deliver relevant content and communications.

      A cookie is a small text file placed on a user’s device when they visit a website. Cookies help the website recognize returning visitors, remember preferences, and collect aggregated analytics data.

    2. Types of Cookies We Use

      RattanTradeAsia may use the following categories of cookies:

      • Strictly necessary cookies: These are essential for the Platform to function properly, including enabling form submissions, page navigation, and secure access. These cannot be disabled without affecting core functionality.
      • Analytics and performance cookies: These collect anonymized information about how users interact with the Platform, including pages visited, time spent, and inquiry submission behavior. This helps us improve the Platform’s usability and performance. Tools may include Google Analytics or similar services.
      • Functional cookies: These allow the Platform to remember user preferences and settings, such as language or region, to provide a more personalized experience.
      • Marketing and retargeting cookies: Where enabled, these may be used to deliver relevant business communications or track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Users may opt out of these cookies as described in the Cookie Consent and Control subsection.
    3. Third-Party Cookies

      Some cookies on the Platform may be set by third-party service providers, including analytics platforms, embedded content providers, or marketing tools. RattanTradeAsia does not control these third-party cookies, and users should refer to the relevant third party’s cookie or privacy policy for further information.

    4. Cookie Consent and Control

      On first visiting the Platform, users will be presented with a cookie consent notice providing the option to accept, decline, or customize non-essential cookie categories.

      Users may also manage or withdraw cookie consent at any time through their browser settings. Most browsers allow users to block or delete cookies; however, disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Platform.

      For guidance on managing cookies through common browsers, users may refer to their browser’s help documentation.

    5. Updates to Cookie Practices

      RattanTradeAsia may update its use of cookies and tracking technologies from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in an updated version of this Clause or in a standalone Cookie Policy, which will be made available on the Platform.

  22. Electronic Communications Consent
    1. Consent to Receive Electronic Communications

      By registering an account, submitting an inquiry, completing an RFQ, joining the RattanTradeAsia supplier network, or otherwise using the Platform, users consent to receive electronic communications from RattanTradeAsia to the email address or contact details provided.

      Electronic communications from RattanTradeAsia may include:

      • Responses to submitted RFQs or product inquiries
      • Quotations, supplier introductions, and sourcing updates
      • Platform notifications, system updates, and service announcements
      • Business newsletters, industry news, product highlights, and event information
      • Compliance notices, policy updates, and changes to these Terms and Conditions
      • Any other communications reasonably related to the services provided by RattanTradeAsia
    2. Marketing Communications

      Where applicable law requires prior consent for marketing communications, RattanTradeAsia will seek such consent separately, for example through a checkbox at the point of inquiry submission or account registration.

      Users who have consented to marketing communications may withdraw their consent and opt out of receiving marketing emails at any time by:

      • Clicking the “Unsubscribe” link included in any marketing email sent by RattanTradeAsia; or
      • Sending a written opt-out request to contact@rattantradeasia.com

      Withdrawal of marketing consent does not affect the delivery of transactional communications directly related to an active inquiry, RFQ, or sourcing engagement.

    3. Validity of Electronic Notices

      Users agree that any notices, agreements, disclosures, or other communications delivered by RattanTradeAsia by electronic means, including by email to the address provided during registration or inquiry submission, shall satisfy any legal requirement that such communication be made in writing, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

      Formal legal notices from RattanTradeAsia to users, including notices of suspension, termination, or material changes to Terms, shall be delivered to the email address associated with the user’s account or most recent inquiry submission.

      Formal legal notices from users to RattanTradeAsia must be sent in writing to contact@rattantradeasia.com or to the address stated in the Contact Information clause of these Terms, and shall be deemed received upon acknowledgment by RattanTradeAsia.

    4. User Responsibility for Contact Details

      Users are responsible for ensuring that the contact details provided to RattanTradeAsia are accurate and kept up to date. RattanTradeAsia shall not be liable for any failure of delivery or any consequence arising from a user providing incorrect, outdated, or inactive contact information.

  23. Prohibited Conduct and Compliance with Laws

    Users shall use the Platform only for lawful business purposes and shall comply with all applicable laws, regulations, trade compliance requirements, export control laws, sanctions regulations, customs requirements, anti-bribery laws, anti-corruption laws, tax obligations, and product safety requirements relevant to their activities.

    Users must not:

    • Submit false or misleading information;
    • Impersonate another individual or entity;
    • Upload illegal, infringing, or unauthorized content or materials;
    • Misrepresent product origin, certification, production capacity, or export capability;
    • Interfere with website security or functionality of the Platform;
    • Scrape or copy supplier or buyer data without permission;
    • Send spam, fraud, or harmful communications;
    • Use the Platform for unlawful trade or restricted goods;
    • Violate export control, sanctions, anti-bribery, anti-corruption, or trade compliance laws;
    • Damage the reputation, operation, or business interests of RattanTradeAsia.

    RattanTradeAsia reserves the right to suspend, restrict, remove content, reject listings, or terminate access where it reasonably believes that a User has breached this Clause or applicable law.

  24. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RattanTradeAsia shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or business losses, including loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity, shipment delay, production delay, customs issue, supplier failure, buyer cancellation, data loss, or reputational damage.

    RattanTradeAsia’s total liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount paid directly to RattanTradeAsia for the specific service giving rise to the claim, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

  25. Indemnity

    Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless RattanTradeAsia, its affiliates, officers, employees, representatives, agents, and partners from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:

    • Misuse of the Platform
    • False or misleading information
    • Breach of these Terms
    • Product claims or disputes
    • Payment disputes
    • Shipment disputes
    • Violation of third-party rights
    • Violation of applicable laws
    • Failure to perform buyer or supplier obligations
  26. Force Majeure

    RattanTradeAsia shall not be responsible for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, civil unrest, pandemic, government restrictions, port congestion, shipping disruption, customs delay, supplier delay, labor disputes, cyberattack, system failure, power outage, material shortage, or other force majeure events.

  27. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

    Terms of this TnC shall be governed by the laws of Singapore.

    The parties shall use reasonable efforts to resolve any dispute, claim, or disagreement arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Platform through good-faith discussions and negotiations.

    If any dispute arising from or related to these Terms, the Platform, or the services provided by RattanTradeAsia is not resolved within 30 (thirty) days after written notice of the dispute, the parties may escalate the matter through mediation or management-level discussions, where appropriate.

    If the dispute remains unresolved after management discussion, the parties may proceed to arbitration or court proceedings.

  28. Severability

    If any provision, clause, sub-clause, or part of these Terms and Conditions is found by any court, arbitral tribunal, or competent authority to be invalid, unlawful, void, unenforceable, or contrary to applicable law, whether in whole or in part, such provision shall be deemed severed from these Terms and Conditions to the minimum extent necessary.

    The remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall continue in full force and effect as if the invalid, unlawful, void, or unenforceable provision had never formed part of these Terms and Conditions.

    Where possible, the invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, while preserving as closely as possible the original intent and commercial purpose of that provision as agreed between the parties.

    No finding of invalidity, unenforceability, or illegality in respect of any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall affect the validity, enforceability, or legality of any other provision.

  29. Suspension and Termination

    RattanTradeAsia may suspend, restrict, or terminate user access, supplier listings, product listings, or inquiry processing if a user violates these Terms, submits inaccurate information, creates compliance risk, damages platform trust, or engages in prohibited conduct.

    Users may stop using the Platform at any time.

    Termination does not affect obligations, liabilities, payments, confidentiality, or dispute resolution processes that arose before termination.

  30. Changes to These Terms

    RattanTradeAsia may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on the website with the revised “Last Updated” date.

    Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted means that users accept the updated Terms.
